Supt. Celester Webb was born in St. Paul MN., to the proud parents of Joseph and Fannie Webb. He was the sixth child out of eight. Supt. Webb went through the St. Paul public school system and graduated from St. Paul Central H.S. Supt. Webb is presently attending Grand Canyon University, obtaining a bachelor degree in Christian Studies.
Supt. Webb was raised in the Church Of God In Christ and is very proud of his C.O.G.I.C heritage. He was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost in Jan. 1986 at Free At Last C.O.G.I.C. His upbringing has shaped who he is and continues to shape his life and ministry. His family is and has been very instrumental working in the MN. Jurisdiction, serving as Chairman of the Pastor's and Elder's council, Chairman of the Holy Convocation Steering committee. Supt. Webb is also a member of the voting board of the MN. Council of Churches. Supt. Webb has also served in many capacities, including Sunday school teacher, musician, choir president, trustee and maintenance to name a few. He is also a retired MPLS. Fire fighter.
Supt. Webb founded the United C.O.G.I.C on November 18, 2001 with his family and a few others and that first Sunday the church took in seventeen members. The church experienced slow growth early on, but through much prayer and fasting and a move to his native St. Paul the church began to grow. Presently United has on roll over six hundred members on roll. United has continued to grow and win souls to Christ. In April 2006 United purchased there first church at 663 Como Ave. in St. Paul, were they are presently.
Supt. Webb is married to Felecia whom he met at a Holy Convocation at the age of twelve. They have been married for almost 24 years and have four children Brianna, Deidra, Celester II and Avery as well as two grand daughters Miara and Myr’Acle.
